The Ozols Business Group is an international leadership and training organization based in Albany, New York. The organization was established in 1994 and was based in Golden, Colorado for 15 years. With “Coach Ozols” rising in the world of NCAA Division 1 volleyball coaching, the organization has followed his career as he has climbed the coaching ladder. The organization has been located in Boulder, Colorado (University of Colorado Buffaloes – PAC 12), Laramie, Wyoming (University of Wyoming Cowboys, Mountain West Conference) then Niagara Falls, New York (Niagara University Purple Eagles – Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) and now Albany, New York (Siena College Saints – Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference). The Founder and President of the Ozols Business Group is Vilis Ozols, B.S., M.B.A., C.S.P.

About Vilis Ozols, Motivational Leadership Speaker
Vilis brings a diverse, colorful background to every presentation he makes. He is a former member of the Canadian Jr. National Volleyball Team and a former Pro Beach Volleyball tour competitor. He is able to bring the motivational sparks and fiery intensity that made him such a successful athlete and coach to all of his presentations. His talks have always had an award winning blend of pertinent and practical information, motivational intensity and a wonderful touch of humor that keep Vilis’ audiences laughing and inspired while they learn.
Vilis holds a Masters Degree in Business Administration from the University of Colorado at Denver. While there, he was a scholarship student and received national academic recognition. He earned an Honors Bachelor of Science Degree in Food Science from the University of Guelph in Canada. Vilis speaks to and trains literally thousands of business professionals every year. He has spoken in all 50 U.S. States, 9 out of the 10 Canadian Provinces, on 3 continents and in 8 countries.
Vilis Ozols doesn’t just talk about leadership and motivation, as an NCAA Division 1 Head Coach, he lives it every day as his profession. He was an outstanding High School coach at Denver’s Mullen High School. He landed the team their first conference championship in the school’s 66 year history and finished in the top ten in the state for 4 years in a row, including state championship match and semi-final match appearances. He progressed to the college game as the assistant coach at the University of Colorado and the University of Wyoming. For the next five years he served as the Head Coach at NCAA Division 1 Niagara University. There he led a spectacular rebuilding effort resulting in an NCAA Top Ten Most Improved Team and progressive MAAC Conference 9th to 2nd Conference finishes and four straight playoff appearances. In February 2018 Coach Ozols was named the 7th Volleyball Coach in Siena College history.

National Speakers Association
Vilis Ozols and the Ozols Business Group have been active professional members of the National Speakers Association and the local chapter of NSA, Colorado. NSA is an association of professional speakers dedicated to ensuring the standard of excellence in professional speaking. Members of the NSA are proven professionals in the field of speaking. Look for this NSA logo with any speaker you might be considering – it is the mark of a professional! Vilis has been a frequent presenter to both NSA and NSA/CO. Vilis Ozols is also the past President and Vice-President for the Colorado Speakers Association. He was also named Member of the Year for NSA/CO. In 2002 he was the AXIEM award winning host of the National Speakers Association Audio Magazine “Voices of Experience” and has presented the NSA opening keynote at the annual NSA Winter Convention.
Certified Speaking Professional
The Certified Speaking Professional designation, established in 1980 by the National Speakers Association (NSA), is the speaking profession’s international measure of professional platform skill. CSP is conferred by the US-based National Speakers Association only on those who have earned it by meeting strict criteria. The letters CSP following a speaker’s name indicate a speaking professional with proven experience who understands what is required and knows how to deliver client satisfaction. Vilis Ozols earned the designation as one of only 8% of professional speakers in the world at that time in 2001. As a full-time NCAA coach currently his CSP designation status has been retired.
